Stringybark Festival is taking place Sunday 15 October 2023 from 10am to 4pm at the Rowville Community Centre and surrounding parklands.

Stringybark Festival has free activities for the whole family, including:

  • home-made, homegrown and nature play activities
  • gardening and sustainability workshops
  • stage performances from local and regional acts
  • a makers market with handmade and environmental products
  • cooking demonstrations on the backyard tucker stage
  • outdoor games
  • amusements
  • children's activities.

This is family friendly, alcohol and drug free event. Entry is free.

This is an alcohol, smoke, drug and pet free event. Guide dogs and companion animals welcome.

Getting there

There is no public parking available at the event. Please walk, ride or take our free shuttle bus.

  • Bike parking is located near the Fulham Road entry (please bring your own bike lock).
  • A free shuttle bus will run from the Ferntree Gully train station and the Knox Civic Centre to the festival. Download the bus timetable.
  • Accessible parking is located via the Fulham Road entrance.
