Year 7’s Unforgettable Adventure at Vision Valley

Back in Week 6, the Year 7 cohort traded their laptops, uniform, and the confinements of the classroom for the rugged, beautiful bushland of Vision Valley. For three action-packed days, students stepped out of their comfort zones, conquered fears, and built friendships that will undoubtedly shape their high school journey.

The energy was high as the buses (eventually) rolled into camp. For many, it was the first major step into the wider world of high school life, and Vision Valley certainly delivered the perfect backdrop for growth, grit, and a little bit of mud.

After long days of physical challenges, the evenings brought a change of pace. On Wednesday night we gathered in our hoodies and beanies around the campfire, to roast marshmallows, share stories, and unwind. This was then followed by a State of Origin experience that will be hard to forget as we witnessed an exhilarating come back from the Blues. 

A massive thank you goes out to our incredible staff who sacrificed their time with their families to make this camp possible. Their dedication and professionalism shown, along with their energy and enthusiasm to ensure that Year 7 had the best camp experience possible is unmatched. Mr Briscoe-Hough, Mrs James, Mrs Cullen, Mrs Thomas, Mr Walker, Mrs Heffernan and Mrs Coulton...you are amazing!

Year 7 Academic Awards 

On Friday last week, Year 7 came together to celebrate the achievements of our students with Academic Awards. These special awards recognised individuals who have been displaying consistent effort, diligence, and a commitment to always trying their best, both in their studies and through their positive contributions to daily classroom life.

A massive congratulations to all of our deserving recipients, your hard work, determination, and wonderful attitudes set a fantastic example for everyone!
