The St Aloysius Master Plan: Building Our Future

St Aloysius College Building Project
The Next Phase of Our Infrastructure & Work Programme
As we transition from the end of Term 2 into the early weeks of Term 3, several key construction and renovation projects will take place across the College. This work is part of our ongoing commitment to improving school facilities and creating modern learning environments for our students.
Please note the specific actions and timelines below:
- Term 2, Weeks 10 and 11 (June/July): Creation of Temporary Learning Centre
- Rooms 31, 32, and 33 will undergo conversion to be transformed into our new, temporary Learning Centre (Library).
- July School Holiday Period: New Student Entry & Pathways
- A new student entry gate and connecting pathway will be constructed linking the College Oval to Cross Road.
- The existing student entry located outside of the current Library will be permanently closed to allow for renovations to commence on the new main student entry.
- Term 3, Weeks 1 to 5 (July to August): Main Office Renovations
- Temporary fencing will be erected underneath the current Learning Centre/Library.
- This cordoned-off space will be safely converted into our brand-new, centralized College Office.
- Term 3 Onwards: Staff Car Park Conversion to Student Space
- The current staff car park will be closed to vehicles starting from Day 1 of Term 3.
- This entire zone will be repurposed and outfitted as an additional seating and recreational area for students to utilize during Recess and Lunch.
We appreciate the community's patience and cooperation as we navigate these exciting campus upgrades. Students will be fully briefed and informed of all specific safety instructions, new entry points, and changed pedestrian pathways before the end of this term, ensuring they can return confidently for the start of Term 3.
