Hello Darwinia Community!

My name is Shreya and I am delighted to present myself as the Student Representative Council member for Year 10. Being part of the SRC is an incredible honour and I am most excited about working closely with all of you to make our school experience even better. I look forward to hearing your ideas, concerns and suggestions, so we can work together to create positive changes and memorable moments for everyone.

As we come to the end of this term, let's take a moment to reflect on all the fantastic achievements and events we've enjoyed. From academic successes to extracurricular triumphs, our House has truly shined. Thank you to everyone for your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm. Your contributions have made this term unforgettable.

Our Year 12 Leaders and HLT have been busy organizing events to raise funds and bring our community closer together. The pizza sale was a great success, thanks to everyone who supported it. We are excited to announce our upcoming hot chocolate sale, perfect for warming up during these colder days. Don't forget to mark your calendars for Thursday 27th June at 6:30pm for the highly anticipated Chorales Competition. It's going to be an evening filled with talent and fun, and we can't wait to see you all there.

The Athletics Carnival was another highlight of the term. It was fantastic to see so many of you participating and cheering on your peers. The spirits displayed were truly inspiring, although we couldn’t place first, we can always strive for victory in the coming year. Let’s not forget the Push-up Challenge that made its debut at the carnival. I encourage everyone to sign up, grab a friend and participate in the Push-up Challenge. If you are not able to participate, I encourage you to join in by donating to the cause! Congratulations to all the participants and winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day a huge success. 

As we approach the school holidays, I want to wish each of you a safe and happy break. Take this time to relax, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends. Whether you're traveling or staying home, make sure to take care of yourselves, make the most of the two weeks off and return ready and open minded for another exciting term.
