Year 11 Emmaus Retreat

On Thursday and Friday of Week Six, our Year 11 students took part in their Emmaus Retreat. The two days were divided into different activities, offering unique opportunities for reflection and growth.
Half of the cohort attended St Joseph’s Parish in Subiaco before beginning their Camino Salvado pilgrimage journey to St Mary’s Cathedral, where they enjoyed a guided tour and learnt about its rich history. Meanwhile, the other half remained at the Swan Valley Adventure Centre, engaging in a variety of thought-provoking reflections, spiritual activities, and meaningful conversations.
As the first day came to a close, our dedicated prefects organised an exciting group activity that encouraged teamwork and provided plenty of fun and laughter.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff who joined us on the Retreat and generously shared their stories and experiences. Your presence and guidance added so much to this special experience for our Year 11s.
Some students shared their accounts of the Year 11 Emmaus Retreat:
