Congratulations to all our students, families and staff on the near completion of Term 1. It’s only been a short term but what a busy, successful and rewarding term it has been!
Last week saw our two campuses come together for our Harmony Day Picnic. It was wonderful to see so many families at our Errol Street Campus to celebrate diversity at
North Melbourne Primary School.
A round of applause to our student leaders, Lola, Hazel and Max, for opening the picnic and to our Performing Arts teachers and students who put on some wonderful performances at the beginning of the event.
A wholehearted thanks also goes out to our P&F Association volunteers who helped make the day a success selling after school treats to keep everyone going. Check out the additional photos from the Harmony Day Picnic in this newsletter.
We ended the week with Ride2School Day at both campuses and our 3-6 Cross Country which were huge successes.
We have no doubt there were many weary legs on Friday afternoon! Congratulations to all students on their efforts in these events.
As the term draws to an end, we have a large pile of lost property at both campuses, including jumpers, hats, drink bottles and other items. If your child is missing anything, please take the time to view our lost property boxes before the end of term. Any unnamed items not collected by the end of the term will be donated to charity.
There will be a whole school assembly at our Molesworth Street Campus (Junior Campus) on Thursday 28th March at 9:15am to celebrate the term. Our 3-6 students will be walking across to join our junior students for this assembly. All families are welcome to also attend.
A reminder that Monday 15th April is a Pupil Free Day. Term 2 commences for students on Tuesday 16th April at both campuses. We look forward to seeing all students back at school for another term of great learning!
I wish everyone a safe, relaxing and enjoyable break!
