Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the beginning of a new school year at St Joseph’s. I hope you and your families enjoyed a restful and joyful Christmas break and that 2026 has begun positively for you.

A new school year always brings a sense of hope, anticipation and possibility. It is a time when we renew our commitment to our shared mission of educating and nurturing the whole child – spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally – within the rich tradition of Catholic education.

Our staff have spent time preparing classrooms, refining learning programs and engaging in professional learning to ensure we are ready to provide the very best learning environment for your children. I sincerely thank them for their dedication and generosity in preparing for the year ahead.

At St Joseph’s, our work is grounded in the Gospel values of respect, compassion, responsibility and faith. In 2026, we will continue to place a strong emphasis on student wellbeing, positive behaviour and high-quality teaching and learning. We remain committed to fostering safe, inclusive and supportive classrooms where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.

A strong partnership between home and school is central to student success. We greatly value your trust, support and involvement in the life of our school, and we look forward to working closely with you throughout the year. Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or the school if you have any questions or concerns.

Important information regarding key dates, events and school expectations will be shared regularly via our our newsletter, school calendar, on our social media platform, so I encourage you to stay connected and engaged.

I look forward to another year of learning, faith and community at St Joseph’s and to getting to know our new families as well as reconnecting with those already part of our community.

May God bless our school community as we begin this new year together.

Kind regards,

Nicholas Boyhan
