日本語 Japanese

Konnichiwa from Japanese class! Hope your summer holiday recharged your energy for a full swing in the new year. I went back to Hokkaido, Japan's northern island, with my family to see my parents, and I just wanted to show you some pictures of where I am originally from. Every day we shovelled the snow to get out of the house because the temperature stayed below zero most of the time. It was minus 9 when we left there. We skied every day and enjoyed the snow.

On the last day of 2025, we had a very busy day in Japanese class. I just wanted to share some snapshots. Grade 3 had the very first online exchange lesson with a Japanese school, and they experienced talking and asking questions in Japanese with Grade 5 Japanese students. Fortunately, Grade 4/5 had another chance to complete the online lessons, and some of the students who missed the first time were able to talk to students in Japan.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday!
