English 

Term 3 Highlights

It has been another busy term in English! We were delighted to welcome three new teachers to the department in Ms Isabelle Bester and Mr Arif Tekin Ulusoy (Dunlop), and Ms Anita O’Shea (Freeman). In their short time here, they've already made a fantastic impact to the English team which has no doubt been recognised by the students in their classes.

Some highlights this term have been the live performance of Romeo and Juliet by Complete Works Theatre Company, which was enjoyed by our Year 9 students as part of their studies. Additionally, Term 3 has seen the welcome return of Inter-House Debating Competition, which, at the time of writing this, is still underway! A huge thank you to  Mr Cameron James and Ms Alyssa Giangiulio for all the work they have put into organising and running the competition, and well done to all the students who have represented their houses.

Finally, a huge congratulations to our Year 12 cohort on finishing their final SACs. This is a significant milestone after a demanding year, and we wish all our students the very best as they prepare for their final exams.
