Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award – Wilsons Promontory

What a fantastic few days for our 31 Year 9 students completing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award! Students spent four days hiking through the spectacular Wilsons Promontory, covering more than 45 kilometres and carrying everything they needed along the way.

From early morning sunrises and spectacular night skies to encounters with wombats, students experienced the best of Wilsons Prom, walking along pristine beaches, crossing rivers and taking in breathtaking mountain views. Along the way, they put their camping and navigation skills into practice while developing their independence and teamwork.

The hike was certainly challenging at times, but students showed great resilience, perseverance and support for one another throughout the journey. They should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

A huge thank you to Ms Talevski, Mr Morris and Ms Van for their organisation and support in making this such a memorable experience for our students.
