It has been a busy and rewarding few weeks at school, with plenty happening both inside and outside the classroom. From students working with our local community to celebrating the incredible contribution of our staff, there has been lots to be proud of.

Our VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) students have been spending Mondays at Warramunda as part of their course, working alongside residents and developing a project together. This has been a fantastic opportunity for our students to step outside the traditional classroom, build relationships and put their learning into practice. Students are currently planning their project in collaboration with the residents, and we look forward to seeing their ideas come to life over the coming weeks.

A big thank you to all of the families who made themselves available for our recent Subject Teacher Conversations. These conversations are an important part of building strong partnerships between home and school. They provide an opportunity to celebrate student successes, discuss progress and work together to support each student's continued growth. We really appreciate your time, support and commitment to these important conversations.

Term 3 reports will be released shortly and will include information about students' work habits. Reports provide another opportunity to reflect on the progress students have made throughout the term and to recognise both their achievements and the areas they can continue to develop.

This week we have also been celebrating Learning Support Officers Appreciation Week, and what better opportunity to acknowledge the incredible people who support our students and teachers every single day. Our LSOs are an invaluable part of our school community. Their patience, care, encouragement and willingness to step in wherever they are needed make such a difference in our classrooms. Quite simply, we would struggle without you! Thank you to all of our Learning Support Officers for the amazing work you do each day. Your contribution is noticed, valued and very much appreciated.

We have also now wrapped up our ICAS assessments, with Mathematics being our final assessment. A big congratulations to all of the students who participated. Completing these assessments provides students with an opportunity to challenge themselves and apply their knowledge in a different context. Thank you also to our teachers for their flexibility throughout the assessment period, particularly in accommodating students being taken from classes to complete their tests.

There is certainly plenty happening across our school, and it has been wonderful to see our students continuing to embrace new opportunities, challenge themselves and contribute to our wider community. A big thank you to our students, staff and families for the ongoing support that makes all of these opportunities possible.
