Caritas Australia Nepal Appeal
The Caritas network is working alongside affected communities and local authorities to assess needs and ensure assistance reaches those most impacted. We are asking Australians to stand with the people of Nepal during this devastating time. Thousands of households have been affected across multiple districts. Search and rescue operations continue in extremely challenging conditions, with damaged roads and communications hampering access to affected areas. Tolle Lege (Scripture Discussion Group)
You are warmly invited to participate in a scripture discussion group which will be held monthly after 8.30am Mass. The next meeting will be on Sunday 13th September. Please see Mary or Annette for further information.
CIA Inquiry Evenings
Inquiry evenings for the RCIA program will begin on Monday 5th October at 5.30pm in the presbytery. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process of Christian formation by which those who are seeking full communion with the Church. Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is the spiritual practice of spending time in the presence of the exposed consecrated Host. Through this practice, we are invited to spend time alone with God in his real, physical form and to bring to Jesus all our cares, concerns, prayers, hopes and thoughts. Adoration will be held on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 4.45pm. The next adoration will be 12th September. Please consider spending some quiet time in the presence of Jesus.
Catholic Charismatic Renewal Sandhurst
Retreat Day Saturday 19th September 2026 at St Brendan’s, Shepparton 9:30am – 3:30pm. Come be refreshed and renewed, encounter the Presence of God. Facilitated by Br Massino Chang and Fr Doroteo Bravi from the Community of the Sons and Daughters of God.
Starting at 9:30am with a cuppa, ready for 10am start. Monsignor Peter Jeffrey Centre, St Brendan’s, 121 Knight St, Shepparton.

Protect St Kilian's Appeal
Following the recent fire at St Kilian’s, Fr Junray Rayna has launched the Protect St Kilian’s Appeal to help fund a modern fire detection and suppression system for our historic Church. While insurance will assist with repairs, the Parish must invest in improved protection to safeguard St Kilian’s for the future. The estimated cost is $500,000. Friends of St Kilian’s will be invited to support the appeal. A Deductible Gift Receipt will be available to those who donate.
