Level 5 Ferngully Camp!

This week has been SUPER exciting in Level 5, as we were lucky enough to go on our camp to Ferngully Lodge in Healesville! We set off bright and early on Wednesday 8th November, everyone was incredibly keen to arrive, explore the camp and discover their cabins. 

We completed all our adventurous activities over the first two days, including the famous giant swing, the terrifying high ropes course, the relaxing zipline, the challenging commando course, the giant inbuilt trampolines, the tricky initiatives and the shady archery rotation, just to name a few! It was so brilliant to see so many students giving each activity a go, despite feeling very nervous or scared – the bravery was spectacular. 

On the first night, we were treated to an amazing Level 5 Talent Show! The acts we were treated to ranged from comedy to singing to dancing to a surprise professional piano concert from our new student, Jinwei! The judges were suitably blown away and many tens were awarded!

The second night saw us back to the hall for a Games Night with Jason, the owner of the camp. This is impossible to describe but highlights definitely included the human worm, finding out who had the longest tongue and a unique ping pong race.

The last day, we packed our cabins, packed the buses and off we went to Healesville Sanctuary! We were lucky enough to take part in a STEM session as well as be wowed by the Bird Show.

Overall, the staff who attended were so incredibly impressed with the resilience, perserverence, respect and bravery of the students who attended camp. We all had an absolute ball and would do it again in a heartbeat!!
