AMAZING RACE

HEALTH AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

On Wednesday 28th May the Year 11 Health and Human Development class visited Michael's IGA in Korumburra. 

The learning activity was an 'amazing race' style task with questions related to the nutrients, price and potential health impact of a range of fresh and processed foods. 

The students have been learning about health and nutrition including food selection models such as the Health Star Rating system and the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating. It was a rainy walk but good fun and excellent to see students considering food choices.
