DESIGN AND TECH

UNIT 1 - TINY LIVING
Year 11 have been working hard over the last few weeks in Unit 1 Design and Tech to research, develop, plan and create a product for “tiny living” in a kitchen which has a dual purpose. Students have produced some amazing and beautiful products which have met the design brief. Well done to everyone!
YEAR 7
Year 7 Rotation #2 – Design Technologies Madness!
What a wild ride it's been in our Year 7 Rotation #2 Design Technologies – Materials class! These legends have been BUSY:
They crafted their own timber money boxes using traditional woodworking skills (yes, real sawdust and elbow grease!) Designed and created metal AND 3D printed coins – because who says money can’t be custom-made? They explored the future with our laser cutter and Cricut machine – bringing digital designs to life with precision and style. Blended the old school with the new, mastering tools from the past while learning tech for the future!
The creativity, hands-on hustle, and “let’s give it a go” attitude from this class was off the charts. So proud of their awesome work – these future makers are on the money! ️
