Year 3–6 Basketball Day

The Year 3–6 Basketball Day was a fabulous way to wrap up a jam-packed term! The courts were filled with energy, excitement, and plenty of house spirit as students competed in a day full of fun and fierce competition.

The team spirit was tangible, with every student giving their best and cheering on their teammates. The competition was extremely close, with White House claiming victory by just three points, Red House taking second place, and Blue House finishing in third.

A special feature of the day was the support from our Senior School students, who stepped into the role of coaches. They encouraged, guided, and motivated the younger players with great enthusiasm. Their involvement not only strengthened skills on the court but also highlighted the wonderful sense of connection across year levels in our school community. Thank you to all Senior School coaches for so generously serving the Junior School students!

It was wonderful to see so many families and friends come along to support our students, adding to the atmosphere and making the day even more special.

A big thank you also goes to our teachers, whose dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts ensured the day was one to remember. Basketball Day was not only about competition, but also about teamwork, encouragement, and celebrating school community, and what an incredible community we have!
