Market Day

What an incredible day Market Day turned out to be! The Junior School was alive with colour, laughter, and excitement as students, parents, and teachers gathered to browse the many stalls, share smiles, and enjoy a wonderful variety of handmade treasures. From plants and crochet items to crafts, toys, and gifts, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy.

Behind all the fun was an enormous amount of preparation and teamwork. Our talented Year 3–6 stallholders spent weeks planning, designing, and making their products at home,  often with the help of their enthusiastic parents. The result was a dazzling display of creativity and generosity that captured the spirit of our school community.

“It was amazing to see students’ creativity flourish as well as be enthusiastic about raising money for Amari,” said Grace S (6D) “Everyone was super devoted to making this Market Day one to remember!”

Raphael P (4OW) agreed, describing the day as “a fun, social time for everyone to enjoy,” adding that “the hustle and bustle was so great that you could hardly move around!” With everything from lucky dips to resin animals, books, origami, and even spinning prize wheels, the day truly had something for every taste and curiosity.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all students, staff, and families who contributed in any way to make the event such a success.

Most importantly, Market Day raised an incredible $3,593.25—every dollar supporting our three sponsored Amari children: Beatrice, Patrick, and Wallin. These funds will help provide education, school supplies, and medical care, making a real difference in their lives.

Market Day reminded us all that when we come together with kindness and purpose, creativity becomes compassion, and together, we can change lives.
