School Savings Bonus

The School Saving Bonus is providing one-off support of $400 for families of Victorian government school students to help with 2025 school costs.

By now you should have received an email from the Department of Education with your login and unique code to use the $400 credit. 

There have been some delays with emails if you have an email account provided by Microsoft or use Outlook or Hotmail. These emails have been resent. Please check your email accounts including junk or spam folders in case it has not made it to your inbox.

To use the $400 credit, you must login to the SSB portal and indicate how you would like to spend the credit. If you choose uniform or books, you will get further information from the suppliers. In our school this is Campion Bob Stewart and School State Relief. 

If you indicate to use $200 at a supplier, and you spend less than this sum, the remaining balance will sit with the supplier until it is either entirely spent, or June 30 2025, whichever is earlier. If there is a balance remaining at 30 June 2025, this will revert back to the school for use on activities on this date.

Alternatively, you can choose to allocate the credit to school activities, especially if your child is attending a camp during 2025. For the credit to be allocated to activities, you do still need to login to the portal and indicate the amount to be spent on activities. This will then tell PSC that you wish the credit to be spent this way. Our Finance staff will provide information in the Compass the event (once created) if you wish to use your $400 in this way.

Financial Assistance

Do you hold a Health Care Card or other Concession Card?

The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions. If you are a holder of a Health Care Card or other Concession Card, you may be eligible to apply for this subsidy of $225 per year for secondary school students.

Payments are made directly to the school and are deducted from the Fees which cover the camps, excursions and sport activities.

Change of contact details

Parents and guardians – please ensure that any changes to your contact details or your child’s medical details are communicated to the school via PSCstudentadmin@parkdalesc.vic.edu.au
