SENIOR SCHOOL

As the school year draws to a close, I'd like to extend my sincere gratitude to our entire school community for their unwavering support and dedication. This year has been filled with a remarkable array of academic, sporting, and cultural achievements, particularly within our senior school.

VCE RESULTS

We are thrilled to announce that 32 of our VCE students achieved ATARs over 90.  This is an outstanding accomplishment that reflects their hard work as well as the quality of education that our teachers provide. 

Eliza Murray is our 2024 Dux, achieving an ATAR of 98.7.  

To all our VCE students who received their results, we extend our best wishes for the future.  Our pathways team remains available to assist those who would like to adjust their preferences ahead of VTAC first round offers.  

The achievements we celebrate today are the result of our collective efforts and the strong community we have built together.  I want to express my gratitude to our staff for their unwavering support and commitment to excellence.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our VCE class of 2024, I am confident that bright futures await each of you.

Valedictory

Our Year 12 students culminated their VCE journey with a poignant Valedictory Evening. This special occasion provided an opportunity for reflection, celebration, and heartfelt farewells as our graduating class prepared to embark on their next chapter.  It was heartening to see our graduates, their families, and our staff come together to honour years of hard work and growth.  I am grateful for the work that went into organising this event by our fabulous team of Faya Mrad, Lucas Vogt, Rachael Rosenbrock and Kelly Pondard.    

Year 10 Formal

Year 10 students also enjoyed a memorable experience with their formal, a highlight for many as they move into Year 11.  Our students had a great time celebrating together on the dance floor, in the photo booth and on the deck overlooking the greens of the Southern Golf Club.  2024 has been a very positive year for this cohort and I would like to thank Vanessa Leslie, Josh Benson and Olivia Purcell for their exemplary leadership of this year level.

WORK EXPERIENCE 

Year 11 VCE-VM students gained invaluable real-world experience through their recent work experience placements. These placements provided them with practical skills and insights into potential career paths.  The positive feedback from employers was a testament to our students' capabilities and work ethic.

COSA

We are incredibly proud of our students who were recognized for their outstanding achievements at the recent Celebration of Student Achievement (COSA). These accolades are a testament to their dedication, talent, and hard work.

Finally, I wish all our parent, students and staff a safe and happy summer holiday.  I look forward to seeing everyone in the new year.
