Education Support Staff Appreciation Day

Friday 15th May

At Hillsmeade we are so very fortunate to have many Education Support staff that assist in the successful day to day running of our school. Education Support staff include our administration team members, wellbeing team, maintenance and the Integration team. This year we have acknowledged their valuable contribution with a morning tea, small gift and recognition of gratitude from all classes across the school. 

So if you see any ES staff around, don't hesitate to reach out and thank them for their amazing work. We honestly couldn't function without them!!

Curriculum Day - Tuesday 19th May

As per our last newsletter, and mentioned at assembly and on Compass - A reminder that on Tuesday 19th May, students are not required at school due to a Curriculum Day.

TeamKids will be available as always.

Principal Class Leave

A reminder that while Mr Paul Hill is on leave, Mr Hardev Singh is in the role of Acting Assistant Principal. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Mr Singh if you have any queries for years 3-6 and other matters that you may normally require Mr Hill.

Prep 2027

Don't forget to enrol your child for Prep 2027! All prep enrolment applications are due on the 31st of July.

Hillsmeade Showcase

On Monday 11th May we proudly presented to approx 20 schools about the journey of Hillsmeade PS since Term 4 2021. We were able to detail the signifcant change that has occurred and how we have moved from a school described as needing transformation, to a 'HIGH PERFORMING SCHOOL' at the end of 2025. 

As the principal I am consistently blown away by the dedication, persistence and passion demonstrated by ALL staff in our school, to help our students achieve growth and success in all areas. Hillsmeade is a great place to be and this was vindicated by the response and feedback from all showcase attendees.

What a celebration!!
