Grade 3 & 4

This term featured the highly anticipated Year 3/4 overnight camp. Students experienced a mix of excitement and nerves as they embarked on the two-hour bus journey to CYC Forest Edge.

Upon arrival, students were introduced to the four activities they would participate in over the two days: crate climbing, archery, a scavenger hunt, and initiative games. Throughout the camp, many students demonstrated courage and resilience by stepping outside their comfort zones and trying new challenges. With the enthusiastic encouragement of their classmates, the nerves soon gave way to confidence, pride, and excitement.

The campers enjoyed dinner, with many returning for second helpings, before settling in to watch a movie and unwind after a busy day. The following day was equally action-packed, filled with more activities, laughter, and memorable experiences before the journey home.

Term 2 also provided many opportunities for fun and community spirit. One highlight was Dress Up as a Teacher Day, where students arrived dressed as their favourite staff members. The school was filled with mini versions of Ms Lara, Ms Monday, Mr Rotundo, and Mr Seddon, while a whole flock of Mr Krets seemed to take over the classrooms!

Thank you to all students and families for a wonderful term. We have enjoyed seeing students challenge themselves, support one another, and create lasting memories. We look forward to another exciting term of learning, growth, and fun in Term 3.
