What a busy and exciting term we have had in Prep!

The Preps have worked incredibly hard and should be very proud of all they have achieved. One of our biggest milestones this term was learning all the letters of the alphabet. We celebrated this wonderful achievement with Milo Monkey's Birthday, and what a fantastic day it was! We loved seeing all the children dressed up as characters, objects, and things that started with their favourite letter. The creativity and enthusiasm on display were amazing.

The excitement reached a whole new level when Milo Monkey arrived and surprised the children with the announcement that we would be going to see Pevan and Sarah Live. The classroom was filled with cheers and excitement, with many of the children exclaiming, "REAL LIFE PEVAN AND SARAH!" It was a very special moment that we know the children will remember for a long time.

Another highlight of the term was the Prep students' very first excursion. The children were super excited to travel on a bus to Bundoora Homestead, where they learnt about life long ago. The Preps loved exploring the old-fashioned school and house and were fascinated by how different life was in the past. They were especially shocked to discover there were no fridges, no toilets inside the house, and no televisions!

As we come to the end of another wonderful term, we would like to thank all our families for their ongoing support. We hope everyone has a safe, happy, and restful holiday break. We encourage the children to continue practising their reading over the holidays to keep building their confidence and skills.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another exciting term of learning in Term 3!
