Message from Karlie Gooding
Acting Principal
I am so pleased to report to the school community that the students have experienced an excellent term. They have been engaged in learning activities within their classroom and programs, and have been upholding the school values to be safe, respectful and to be their best.
It was great to see so many of you in person and online for the first Student Support Group (SSG) meetings for 2026. The sessions were a productive discussion of student learning goals as part of their Individual Education Plan (IEP) and also provided the opportunity for collaboration between home and school.
I am pleased to let you know that this year, you will have the opportunity to have an SSG with the classroom teacher and specialist teachers each term. The SSG for Term 2 is an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress towards their goals and also discuss their Semester 1 student report. The dates for the Term 2 SSGs are:
Future SSG dates for Terms 3 and 4 will be shared in Semester 2.
School Council plays a key role in Victorian Government Schools. A School Council develops a vision for the school in collaboration with all members of the school community and is actively involved in the achievement of the targets within the school’s annual plan.
