Interschool Athletics Day 

SSSSA Interschool Athletics Day

On Friday 13th March, students who were selected to represent Heatherwood School from results in Physical Education classes and sports related programs, attended the annual SSSSA Interschool Athletics Day at Ringwood Athletics Track. 

Students competed against 6 other South-East Special Schools in a range of Track & Field events from Long Jump, Vortex Throw, and Shot Put to 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m individual running events, along with the highly anticipated 4x100m team running relays. We received some great results with plenty of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons going out. Thanks to the staff and student assistants who supported the running of the carnival day.
