National Tree Day
On Friday July 26th, students from Prep - Grade 6 took part in National Tree Day.
Prep - Grade 2 students planted broad bean seeds while Grade 3 students assisted with garden maintenance and planting native shrubs in our vegetable patch. Grade 4 students took part in garden maintenance and planting native seeds and Grade 5 students planted native shrubs in the Values Garden. Students in Grade 6 planted bush tucker plants in our vegetable patch.
Thank you to Ms Bartlett for her help organising the day. The sun was shining and our students had a wonderful time!
Waste free Wednesday
Waste Free Wednesday is still continuing, even though Plastic Free July has officially finished. Students are encouraged to bring their reusable containers to school with no plastic wrappers on their food.
