Well done Finn!

For those who may not have been at assembly last week, I would like to bring your attention to one of our Year 4 students -  Finn Cadman. We are so proud of Finn!! He recently spoke at Parliament House in Melbourne regarding the need to support people fighting MND. Please refer to the SRC page in this newsletter for more information. What an awesome achievement Finn!!

Colour Explosion Run

THURSDAY 5th SEPTEMBER

Have you created your online account and started fundraising yet? This is our biggest fundraiser for the year! Our SRC have chosen to raise money to improve our Values Garden and build a sandpit for students in Year 2 and above. This is the most important part of this event - that students have fun raising money for improvements in their school that they will benefit from and enjoy! Student voice is a very powerful tool and we continuously embrace this at Hillsmeade. We really value what our wonderful students have to say and suggest!

So start your fundraising now!!

Fathers and Special Others Stall and Breakfast

In Week 7, we will be celebrating our fathers and special others by offering our students the opportunity to purchase items from our annual stall - stay tuned to Compass for more details!

On Friday 30th August, we will have our whole school Breakfast Club to honour our fathers and

 special others! All welcome! Hopefully the weather is great and we can be outside, so don't forget your jackets and beanies!!

Parent Teacher Interviews - Monday 2nd & Tues 3rd September

Just a reminder that Parent Teacher interviews will be held this term. Keep your eye on Compass as the online bookings will open in a couple of weeks. This will be an opportunity to discuss progress on Semester one reports.
