Over the past fortnight, the Grade 4 students have been remained engaged in their learning as we are working towards finishing our units for the year.
In Reading, our students have been analysing the structural and language features of non-fiction texts, exploring how elements like headings, diagrams and vocabulary support understanding.
In Writing, students have been drafting, revising and editing their narratives, focusing on crafting stories with a clear author’s message.
The Grade 4 students have been learning about angles and the properties of 2D shapes, identifying different types of angles and describing shapes using key features, in Numeracy
The students are now in the ‘Taking Action’ phase of our Inquiry unit. Using their research from this semester, they are sharing their knowledge in a range of ways, such as posters, storybooks and presentations.
