Melton Secondary College math games 14/11/2025

On the 14th of November 2025, 11 5/6 students were chosen to go to the Maths Games Day at Melton Secondary College. These specific 11 people who got chosen were split up into 3 specific teams and had to compete against over other schools from our network.

There were a variety of different challenges that the 3 teams had to complete against other schools. They got to get hints and after completing the following challenges, ee had to tell our mentor who was sitting on the side of our following table. The students had a great time. 

We also showed the school values throughout the 2025 Math Games at Melton Secondary College. The students showed great care to their fellow teammates. And showed lots of respect to other following schools: the Melton Secondary College 2025 Math Games were absolutely magnificent.

Congratulations to Team 1: Horatio, Shreya and Zoe, who came third place in the whole competition. What an awesome effort. Thank you to Ms Maddi and Ms Thi for taking us on the excursion. And thank you to Mel for organising the event and our parent mathematician for helping us prepare for the day!
