STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

Wominjeka Everybody! 

Over the last couple of weeks, Grade 3s explored the prevalence of food in art, looking at old still life paintings of fruit as well as being amazed by images of realistic food sculptures and digitally created images. They were challenged to sculpt and paint a food of their choosing, making it look as realistic as possible.   They sculpted with paper magiclay and used watercolour paints to complete the piece. The results are astonishing and I am very proud of their efforts and creativity.
