"Fit in or stress out: The mental cost of conformity."

This competition invites students to reflect on the pressures of fitting in,

social expectations, and the impact conformity can have on mental well-being.

Competition Details:

- Who: Australian students aged 13-18

- Format: Essay, max 800 words

- Entry Fee: Free

- Submission Deadline: 30th September 2026

Prizes (given per division):

- 1st: $150

- 2nd: $100

- 3rd: $50

- 4th & 5th: $25

Help your learner get on the road with a free driving lesson!

The myLearners Free Driving Lesson program offers a FREE 60-minute Lesson with a professional driving instructor for learners aged 16–21 who have completed 10–50 hours of driving practice. The lesson is taken alongside their supervising driver, helping both the learner and supervisor build safer, more confident driving habits together.

This program supports families by making the learning experience more positive and less stressful. It aims to reduce crash risks for young drivers, strengthen supervising skills, and encourage safer driving behaviours early on all at no cost to participants.

WHAT'S SCHOOL LIKE FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITY?

CYDA's new National Education Survey aims to capture the experiences of children and young people with disability, and parents or caregivers. In a similar survey in 2024/25, we heard that three of every four students with disability had experienced some form of bullying or exclusion at school. Now, two years later, we want to know:
