The First and Last

The beginning of an era...

The first day of school saw our 2024 Year 7 cohort arrive bright and eager to begin their secondary school journey, and it was wonderful to welcome them into the school. 

Beginning with a short assembly in the auditorium, students were then split into their home groups, moved on to locker allocation and then to classes.  The cohort exhibited a mature and disciplined approach to the proceedings, and working independently and together to manage their first day of learning at Brunswick Secondary College. 

It is great to have these newest students aboard, and we look forward to the next six years of their company! 

...marks the end of an era

At Senior School, we welcomed our Year 12 cohort back to Brunswick Secondary College on the first day of the last year of their high school education. 

How time flies, and unbelievably these students are suddenly on the brink of 'the real world'. This cohort is focused on completing VCE and VET subjects in preparation to enter the workforce, TAFE and/or other tertiary studies in 2025, and students have begun the year ready to face the challenge.

We wish them every success and happiness for their final year at BSC.
