Teams

Microsoft Teams for Education is a powerful communication app for schools .  This software enhances collaboration and learning because it is an effective way to centralise all communication and resources.

Being on Task

Using  Teams means that students can easily see what tasks are current in their classes and/or to review their recent learning.  For example, if they have missed classes due to illness, it is easy to see what has been covered in their absence and to access any resources that they need to catch up.  Students can easily communicate with their teacher in the app to discuss catch-up material or to ask for additional help on a subject.

Connections with Friends and Teachers

Students do better in school when they can connect with each other, and Teams offers many ways for students to do that. For instance, they can connect with their whole class by communicating through the class channel. In this way, they can post messages to their class and teacher to share ideas, collaborate, and ask questions.

Students can also submit their work via the digital platform, where the teacher can assess the learning tasks and provide feedback, then return it to the student.
