Caagar rings the Bell!

What a great day for a Swimming Carnival! Tuesday

February 13 saw a maximum temperature of 38 degrees, so it was great day for enjoying some shade and a splash!

At Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool students joined to celebrate our school community and to participate in friendly House Competition.  Everyone was well hydrated, following SunSmart protocols and loudly cheering on their House - and a great time was had by all.  As usual, both staff and students dressed in house colours (some in costume), encouraging friendly rivalry and ribbing.

Caagar (Green) House were the victors on the day - breaking a 6 year drought since last ringing the Brunswick Bell. Caagar students were thrilled with the win, with the other houses most gracious in defeat.

Thank you!

The Year 11 VCE Vocational Major class organised and executed an absolutely fabulous barbeque lunch, delivering service with a smile. This was no mean feat - given that slaving over a very hot barbecue plate was not ideal in the heat!

We extend our sincere thanks to all the VCE Vocational Major students who were exhausted by the end of the day - having worked so hard to serve their community.
