We recently completed our class novel, Tom Appleby: Convict Boy, which was thoroughly enjoyed by students. They were highly engaged and invested in the story, leading to thoughtful discussions and reflections on the characters and events.

In our new Knowledge Building unit, students have been learning about the Reformation. This has sparked meaningful discussions, with students showing great curiosity and interest. They have also conducted some research on Martin Luther, developing their understanding of his role and impact on history and created a poster to show his achievements.

We were incredibly proud of our Year 6 leaders who represented our school at the Lancefield ANZAC Day service. Each student conducted themselves with respect and maturity, doing our school proud.

This week, students also took part in Cross Country at Hanging Rock. It was fantastic to see all students giving their best effort and representing the school so positively. A real highlight was the way students supported one another, cheering each other on and celebrating each other’s achievements.
