Year 3C

Year 3 students were thrilled to be back in the kitchen, rolling up their sleeves to create a delicious cherry tomato and basil focaccia. They enthusiastically practised their kneading skills, carefully working the dough and watching it transform. The WMC was filled with excitement (and wonderful aromas!) as the focaccias baked. Students were incredibly proud of their efforts, and the positive feedback about the final results was well deserved—soft, flavourful, and absolutely delicious!
In Maths, we have been working hard in our fractions unit, developing our understanding of halves, thirds, quarters, eighths and tenths. We have been identifying, modelling and representing these fractions using both shapes and collections. It has been fantastic to see students confidently explain their thinking and make connections between different representations of fractions.
