Garage Girls is coming to the stage!

The St Mary’s College Drama 3 class proudly presents Garage Girls, a bold and funny production exploring friendship, grit and girl‑powered creativity. The show will run on Thursday 11 June and Friday 12 June at St Peter's Hall from 6.00pm, with tickets sold at the door.
Starring: The St Mary's College Drama Level 1 and 3 students: Elsa Clennett, Abel Harris, Cameron McSherry, Imogen Nicholas, Polly Smith, Georgina Stringer and Talia Wighton.
Plot summary:
In the roaring 1920s, as the world shook off the dust of war, a young woman in Melbourne picked up a spanner and refused to put it down. With grease on her hands and fire in her belly, Alice Anderson built Australia's first all-girls garage, a daring act of defiance.
Garage Girls is a high-octane, wildly theatrical joyride that tears from the laneways of Melbourne to the red heart of Alice Springs.
Bursting with energy, sharp humour and unforgettable characters, this feisty new Australian play is a heartfelt tribute to courage, sisterhood and the women who dared to fix more than just engines.
Please note: This production includes thematic references to death and features the use of a prop cigar and a prop gun.
