Families, students and staff walking together in the Presentation way
Across our College community, the past few weeks have offered powerful reminders of what is possible when families, students and staff walk side by side in support of our young people. This partnership is not just helpful, it is foundational to who we are as a Presentation school, shaped by the spirit of Nano Nagle and her unwavering belief in the dignity and potential of every learner. Whether it has been cheering from the sidelines at weekend sports, cross country, volunteering at College events, or simply offering encouragement to give things a go, our families strengthen the fabric of our community.

Staff, too, have been present in abundance, coaching, supervising, guiding, accompanying students on camp and celebrating the achievements of our young people. Learning Conferences and Information Evenings are also moments of genuine partnership, where each person contributes to the growth of the young person at the centre.
The Year 12 Mother's Day Breakfast was another beautiful expression of community. The joy in the room was unmistakable: students honouring the women who have shaped them, families connecting with one another, and staff standing alongside them in support. Events like this remind us that education is relational and community is vital, and that both thrive in connection, gratitude and shared celebration.

Uniform reminder: Representing our College with pride
A strong sense of community includes the way we present ourselves. Over the past few weeks, staff have noticed an increase in students arriving at school in non‑uniform items such as hoodies and hairstyles or colours that fall outside our guidelines.
This is a gentle reminder of the expectations we uphold together. Wearing the correct uniform is not simply about appearance. It reflects pride in our College, respect for one another and a shared commitment to the standards that help create a calm and focused learning environment. It strengthens our sense of belonging and contributes to ensuring fairness, safety and a shared sense of identity. When students wear their uniform with pride, they contribute to a positive culture where everyone feels included and respected.
To support this, we ask all families and students to ensure that students wear the full, approved College uniform each day. Hoodies, even if worn under a jacket, are not part of the College uniform and should not be worn at school. The only exception is the Year 12 leavers’ hoodie, which may be worn with either the sports or formal uniform. Jewellery should remain minimal and in line with College policy.
We thank parents and carers for their vital support by assisting our learners with their attendance, wearing the correct College uniform and positive engagement with their peers and learning.
More details about uniform requirements can be found in our Uniform Guidelines and Uniform Handbook.
