Interschool Secondary Chess Competition

Our Lakeside students represented the College with pride at this week’s Interschool Chess competition, demonstrating not only strong gameplay but the kind of character that truly sets them apart.
Throughout the day, organisers and competitors from other schools took the time to compliment how encouraging, respectful and supportive our students were, a wonderful reflection of their sportsmanship and our College values.
We were also thrilled to celebrate some outstanding individual results. Milen Mathew earned a Distinction and has qualified for the Secondary Regional Final. In the girls’ division, Buk Dieng secured the Gold Medal, and Yar Mading achieved the Bronze Medal.
Several students also received Credit for their strong performances:
- Hemanya Aswal
- Neel Parmar
Harper Leonardo Belmar
Congratulations to all students involved. They competed with skill, encouraged others generously, and were excellent ambassadors for our College!
