Enrolment News - Prep & Year 7 2028
Applications for Prep 2028 at Lakeside College are now open.
Applications Close: Friday, 26 March 2027
Interviews and Communication: Expected during April–May 2027
We have approximately 50 places available. Enrolment is not guaranteed and all offers follow the College’s Enrolment Policy.
Prep Readiness Requirements
As outlined in the Enrolment Policy:
- A formal offer may be made once all required information is provided, the enrolment interview is completed, and the child is Prep ready.
- Prep students should turn 5 by 30 April in their year of entry.
- All Prep students must be able to:
- follow directions and act safely;
- engage in learning activities for an appropriate period without support;
- toilet themselves independently.
If a child is not Prep ready, enrolment will be postponed to the following year.
Next Steps
Families are encouraged to book a school tour during school hours to see our classrooms in action and meet our teachers. It is essential that families provide all supporting documentation and disclose any medical or learning conditions as part of the application process. This ensures the College can accurately assess readiness and support needs.

Offers Issued: Friday, 14 August 2026
With around 25 - 30 places available for new students, we encourage families to apply early. School tours are available during term time.
Sibling Enrolments – Apply Early
Families with current or expected students are encouraged to submit sibling applications 1–2 years in advance, especially for Prep and Year 7 due to the increased demand of applications.
