Year 7 NGV Tour

On Friday 13 September, Year 7s went to the National Gallery of Victoria to see Africa Fashion. We were guided through this incredible exhibition of textiles, film and music by two NGV staff. Thanks Leah and Sarah! We also found out that one of our students has incredible knowledge of Moroccan textiles – thank you, Amir! As well as seeing this exhibition, we also got involved in Pharoah activities and were able to see some Ancient Egyptian artefacts including a sarcophagus and writing tablets. There were lots of things to see and do and we all learned a lot. After a busy morning we were treated to a lunch in the Great Hall before returning back to school.
