Highlights from Our Food Tech and Nutrition Classes!

We are excited to highlight the wonderful progress our Year 7 and Year 10 students have made in their Food Technology and Food and Nutrition classes this term.

 

In Year 7 Food Tech, our young chefs have been learning the essentials of kitchen safety, hygiene, equipment use, nutrition, and cooking techniques. They are not only mastering these important skills but are also working exceptionally well as a team. Their enthusiasm and collaboration have led to some fantastic and delicious dishes. It’s amazing to see them applying their theoretical knowledge in practical lessons and demonstrating significant learning growth.

 

In Year 10 Food and Nutrition, students are exploring more advanced topics, including nutrients, healthy eating, and the importance of breakfast. They are also putting their knowledge into practice by designing their own recipes and products. Their dedication to creating well-balanced and flavourful dishes is evident in their work.
