Melbourne Victory- JFC School of Football

We celebrate connecting with our 1000th local Primary School student through the Melbourne Victory School of Football program at John Fawkner College. To date, eight local primary schools have benefited from the delivery of in-school clinics.

The School of Football at John Fawkner College hosted 60 students from Dandenong High School's School of Football at C.B. Smith Reserve for match practice on Wednesday, 11th September. Students showcased their technical and strategic skill development against quality competition. Khalid Aden Hassan, Imran Atik, Noah Kid, and Mohamad Alameddine were recognised for their performance and leadership on the day.

A free Melbourne Victory School Holiday Program for girls and boys aged 12-17 will run from Monday, 30th September, to Thursday, 3rd October. See Compass for more information.

For prospective 2025 students, a Melbourne Victory School of Football Information Session for Students, Parents, and Carers will be held at the start of Term 4, followed by Melbourne Victory School of Football Selection Trials for Years 7-10 Students. Event times will be posted on Compass, www. jfc.vic.edu.au, Instagram, and Facebook.

Footy Colours Day

Footy Colours Day was held on Tuesday, 17th September, to bring the JFC community together for a fun and friendly football rivalry. Students and staff wore their footy colours with pride. While the focus was on Aussie Rules, all footy codes and team colours were out in force. The Year 12 students were victorious over the Staff Team during the lunchtime match, followed by skills competitions and games for Years 7-10 during period 5.
