JFC Kitchen Garden

Ms Roberts and Ms Salmon have been busy cleaning up the Kitchen Garden and planting a variety of edible crops for harvest later in the year. It doesn’t look like much now but once the warm weather arrives the seeds lying dormant under the soil will burst into life and we have many more seeds and plants (including Indigenous food plants) waiting to be moved to this area. We are hoping that this will provide a calm, productive green space (maybe even a small oasis), growing fresh ingredients for our lunches and the Food Tech programme. We would love to have student involvement and plant culturally relevant crops so let us know what you would like to grow!
