Harmony Day

This week, CPS came alive with colour, culture, and community as we proudly celebrated Harmony Day! It was a wonderful opportunity for our students, staff, and families to come together and recognise the rich diversity that makes our school such a vibrant and inclusive place.
Students dressed in orange or traditional clothing representing their cultural backgrounds, creating a beautiful display of unity and pride across the school. Classrooms were filled with engaging activities, from exploring cultural traditions and sharing stories, to creating artwork that reflected the theme “Everyone Belongs.”
A highlight of the day was seeing students confidently sharing their heritage, languages, and experiences with their peers. These moments not only celebrated individuality but also helped foster respect, understanding, and connection within our school community.
Harmony Day at CPS is more than just a celebration—it’s a reminder of the values we strive to uphold every day: inclusiveness, respect, and a strong sense of belonging for all.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day so special. Together, we continue to build a school where every voice is valued and every person belongs.
