As part of Mission Month, children are invited to wear their craziest socks to school this Friday 23rd October and bring a gold coin donation to support communities in Malawi. Our fundraising will help children access food and education, giving them the opportunity to build a brighter future. Thank you for helping us uut our faith into action and make a difference in the lives of others!
Planning for 2027-Class Structures, sizes and learning opportunities
You would have received a letter today via nForma outlining our planning for 2027, including proposed class structures and learning opportunities. It is important to clarify that a number of the changes being introduced for 2027 arise from system-wide requirements, guidelines and decisions made by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). These requirements guide our planning and decision making as we continue to respond to the needs of our students and school community.
We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support as we work together to ensure the best possible learning opportunities for all students at St Fidelis.
For ease of access, a copy of the letter together with all important information for 2027 can be found on the 2027 Information newsletter tab. This tab will be updated from time to time so please keep an eye on this tab.

Why We Value STEMMAD at St Fidelis
At St Fidelis, we value STEM-MAD (Making a Difference) because it nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and real world problem solving. By integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, the Arts, and Design, we empower students to be innovative, collaborative, and future-ready learners.
This week, we’re proud to be hosting our own STEMMAD Showcase right here at St Fidelis Hall. Four other schools will be joining us, and our judging panel includes Ryan Evans ( experienced Digitech and STEM teacher, incursion facilitator and presenter – and ‘that guy from LEGO Masters'), Shelly Waldon (Science & STEM Lead at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools) & Joanne Knights (Business Development Manager/STEM trainer/LEGO certified trainer for MTA). We’re hopeful that, like last year, some of our students may be selected to represent at the National Level.
Please note that MACS is not running the event this year, so we’ve taken the lead in providing this exciting opportunity for our students and others in our local network. A huge thank you to Mr Frazzeretto, who has organised this event with the competing schools.
