Year 1 News

It has been another wonderful week of learning in the Year 1 spaces!
As artists, we have been busy creating and developing our class artworks in preparation for our upcoming Art Show. We have been exploring our creativity, experimenting with different ideas and working hard to bring our artistic visions to life. We look forward to sharing our creations with our school community!
As writers, we have been exploring compound sentences and learning how to join two ideas together using conjunctions such as and, but, because, and so. We have been practising connecting our ideas to create more detailed and interesting sentences for our readers.
As religious thinkers, 1OB, 1 AM and 2NA attended Mass on Thursday. It was a lovely opportunity to come together in prayer, reflect on our faith and strengthen our connection as a Catholic school community.
Well done to 1CW for leading a wonderful Whole School Prayer assembly on Friday!
A friendly reminder: 1OB will lead the Whole School Prayer in Week 4.
