STEM Update

Congratulations to Our STEM MAD Showcase Teams!
We are incredibly proud to announce that four Year 5/6 teams will be representing St Fidelis Catholic Primary School at the STEM MAD Showcase this Thursday, 22 October 2026!
Over the past few months, our students have worked collaboratively to research, design and develop innovative prototypes that aim to make a difference to the environment and humanity. Through creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving, they have transformed their ideas into projects that address real-world challenges.
Please join us in congratulating our four teams and their prototypes:
- B2C – Brown to Clear Water: Giorgio Ioannou, Gus Callinan and Zachaiar Haya
- Nova AI: Hunter Fairbanks and Rafael Sague
- Quit It!: Madalen Silvestro, Hazel Munafo, Clara Perri and Jeevan Joson
ESR – Emotional Support Robot: Eva Kennedy, Maria Diaz Vasquez and Florence Massimino
Our students should be very proud of their dedication, teamwork and willingness to use STEM to make a positive difference in the world. We wish all four teams the very best as they present their prototypes to the guest judges!
Families are warmly invited to visit the STEM MAD Showcase and see the fantastic projects created by our students and other participating schools. The best time to visit is between 11:40 am and 1:00 pm on Thursday, 22 October, when the teams will be showcasing their prototypes and presenting their ideas to the judges.
Come along, explore the displays and support our talented young innovators. We hope their creativity and enthusiasm will inspire you as much as they have inspired us!
Congratulations to all our STEM MAD teams on this wonderful achievement. We are so proud of you!
