Wonderful 1

One-derful Class Chronicles

Term 1 Week 10 2026 -  Thursday 2nd April

What have we been up to?

We have had a busy final two weeks of term, filled with lots of learning and fun!

In Reading and Writing, students have been exploring adventure narratives and beginning to write their own stories, focusing on characters, settings, and simple story structure, while adding descriptive language.

In Maths, we have been learning addition and subtraction through hands-on activities, with a focus on partitioning numbers, number bonds to 20, and subitising.

In Inquiry, students have continued their Geography unit, exploring local places and learning about natural, managed, and built features, as well as how people care for them.

We have had a wonderful term full of learning, growth, and memorable moments together. It has been fantastic to see the progress each student has made, both academically and socially, and the way they continue to support and encourage one another. Thank you for your ongoing support throughout the term, it truly makes a difference.

A friendly reminder to please send through a family photo for our Family Wall if you haven’t already. Thank you!
