Peru Donation & Raffle Winners

Thank You For Supporting Our Students

Wangaratta High School thanks O'Briens Heating Cooling Plumbing & Refrigeration Wangaratta together with their partners Haus O' Fire, Tradelink - Plumbing Centres (Wangaratta) Braemar Heating & Cooling & Jetmaster Heat & Glo for their generous support.

This year 26 students and 4 staff will travel to the village of Chincha, on the coast south of Lima, to help build two homes for families currently living in straw huts.

Matt & Rebecca from O'Briens Heating Cooling Plumbing & Refrigeration kindly presented the school with a $1,500 donation, which will go directly towards building materials for our 2026 service project.

O’Briens Plumbing is a long standing local, family-owned business known for providing reliable plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical services across Wangaratta and Northeast Victoria. Their commitment to supporting the community shines through in their generous contribution to our school.

In addition to the monetary donation, O’Briens Plumbing & their partners generously donated a VisionLINE Vesta 50" electric fireplace (RRP $1,440.00) as the major prize in our fundraising raffle, helping raise vital funds to support this life-changing project.

Thank you to the wonderful businesses for their incredible generosity and commitment to supporting both our students and our wider community. Your contribution is helping make a meaningful difference, both here in Wangaratta and in Peru.
