Country Cup Cricketer

 

Congratulations to Ava Penney on her selection in the North East Knights Under 15 Girls Cricket team.

 

Ava’s selection is an outstanding achievement as a 13-year-old Year 7 “bottom-ager,” and she will be eligible again next year. Chosen as one of 13 players from across the North East region, she is among just 78 girls across Country Victoria to compete in the Cup.

 

A talented all-rounder, Ava has had a remarkable year, captaining our Year 7 Girls Cricket team to Upper Hume and Hume Region titles and a State Top 8 finish, where she was the top run scorer in the quarter final. She also excelled across multiple sports, earning House Captain and Athletics Age Group Champion honours, and contributing to strong state-level results in badminton and football.

 

We are incredibly proud of Ava’s achievements.
